Born into a family of Argentinian artists, illustrator Sofia Bonati studied geology before taking up graphic design and illustration, which she now practices part-time from the UK, her current home. Adding inks, gouache and watercolour to her delicate pencil drawings, Sofia creates portraits of enchanting women with a look of mystery in their eyes. Designed and manufactured in Transylvania, the Mind The Gap wall art range comprises a various selection of substrates and decorative techniques. Their prints are made on fine art paper or natural linen, and some are hand embellished with brass and copper metallic foils. For some designs, they use also the parchment technique to enhance the vintage look. Each piece is framed with premium wooden frame and protected with acrylic glass.
